What to Expect

Dr Jeremy Sangster adjusting a patient.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

First Visit

Expect to be here about thirty to forty minutes. When you arrive we will ask you to complete a form to help us get to know a little more about you. It would be helpful if you come 10 minutes early to do this. Please bring any relevant, recent spinal X-rays and MRI’s.

If a spinal problem is detected then chiropractic x-rays may be required.

Second Visit

On your Second Visit we will review all of the exam findings from your initial visit. After we study your health history and correlate that with our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get healthy as quickly as possible and stay healthy.

This appointment will take approximately half an hour. We find this two-visit approach reduces the length of your first visit, gives us time to correlate our findings, and avoids overloading you with too much information.

Regular Visits

You won’t need to spend half an hour for every visit. After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, a typical office visit will require less time. But don’t think this lessens it’s value! With the groundwork laid, we will size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.
